Shipping
All pieces are made to order. Your total delivery time is production time plus transit time.
Production time is specific to each piece and is shown on its product page. Depending on the complexity of the design, pieces available online take 7–14 or 14–21 working days to produce.
If your order includes products with different production times, it will be dispatched once all items are ready. Transit time begins at dispatch.
Bridal dresses have an estimated production time of 6–8 months, depending on the complexity of the design, the personalisation requested and the atelier's availability. The timeline for your order is agreed and confirmed in writing during your consultation, before the order is confirmed.
Romania
Express courier (Fan Courier or equivalent) · 1–2 working days from dispatch.
Charge: 30 RON for orders below RON 1,500. Free shipping on orders of at least 1.500 RON, including orders of exactly RON 1,500. The threshold is assessed on the eligible subtotal after discounts.
Europe — EU countries
DHL Express · 3–5 working days from dispatch.
Shipping charges are shown at checkout for your selected destination and currency.
United Kingdom
DHL Express · 3–5 working days from dispatch.
Charge: 40 EUR.
The import tax information below applies, including the exception for taxes that must be collected at purchase.
United States
DHL Express · 3–5 working days from dispatch.
Shipping charges are calculated at checkout.
For deliveries outside the European Union, applicable customs duties, import taxes and any customs clearance fees are not included in shipping costs and are payable by the recipient, unless they must be collected at purchase under the destination's rules. These amounts are determined under the applicable rules and may be requested before delivery.

DAP (Delivered at Place). The information above about taxes and fees applies to destinations outside the European Union.
Tracking
You will receive an email with your tracking number when your order is dispatched. You can track your parcel directly through DHL or the local courier.
Please note
When transport is arranged through the courier offered by the atelier, the risk of loss or damage passes when you, or a person you designate other than the carrier, take physical possession of the product. If you choose a carrier that was not offered by the atelier, the legal exception concerning handover to that carrier applies.
If your parcel has not arrived
If your parcel has not arrived within the estimated time, email contact@iuliabalan.ro with your order number. We will investigate with the carrier and let you know the appropriate next steps. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
Pieces made to individual specifications
Your bridal gown can be collected from the atelier or sent by courier, as agreed. Return conditions are set out in our returns policy.
